O my goodness! I just finished the Speed IQ and I love, love, love this video exercise routine. The music is so upbeat and it really put me in tune with the speed of the exercise. However, when it came to the criss-crossing part, I just couldn’t keep the beat, but the modified versions kept me from stopping and getting frustrated with not understanding how to jump and criss-cross the way the others would….
But you know what I told myself? By the end of my journey, I’m going to be able to do it… he, he, he… yup! That’s my challenge…
Oh, yea! My BOOTIE was sore today. Everyone time I took a step, my glutes felt sore. I was like, “Whoa! Did I just feel that?” he, he, he… it’s a good thing… that just means my butt got a workout yesterday… yay, me!
And yes, I sweated today as much as I did yesterday… Is “sweated” even the proper spelling of what I’m trying to say? In any case, it’s worth making the extra sweat pouring out of me a new word… ha, ha, ha…
It’s Day 2 and so far so good… tomorrow will be Day 3… okay, gotta shower now… TTYL!
Started the T25 today… I actually got it Thursday and didn’t open it up until today, Saturday… I had school and work and just busy, so althought I was so excited to start sooner, I think it was just perfect timing that I started on a Saturday, because I have the next 4 days off to really focus on my exercise routing… wow! No periods there, huh?
Anywho… I was going to start on Monday like the calendar stated, but I’m going to have to tweak around the days to make the commitment I need to succeed in the 25 days of exercise…
So let me tell you how my first day went… It was… WOW! I can’t find the right words for it… It was definitely a workout. And a challenge to even complete the program. On top of having the kids home on the weekend, visitors started to come at the wrong time.
They knew I was working out and I told them to give me several minutes and that I would be out soon. I did my 25 minutes and then enjoyed the rest of day spending time with family and friends and even went out to a restaurant without worrying that my exercise wasn’t done.
I started today with the Cardio video and being that I have a heart history (which I haven’t had the chance to mention in my profile – I don’t think), I had to modify some of the moves to make sure I didn’t overwork my heart…. Tanya is super wonderful! I love already the fact that there are modified moves in this video with the encouragement that we can still achieve our goal of losing inches.
Congratulations to Tanya, by the way, for her new baby. It’s so wonderful and promising that she can get back to exercising and get her body back.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s 25 minutes.
Buhu!! I slacked off my exercise regimen for a month. I’ve had no time since I’ve started school and work and the kids back to school.
See the pics. I can see the difference.
Can u see the difference?
So, one morning, I saw an infomercial for T25 and got inspired to try again.
Only 25 minutes a day and I’m goo to get back in shape… If I calculated right, I should be for and oohlahlah by my 34th bday… Hehehe (giggling to myself.)
I have a blog in the beach body website… I’ll share it with u wen I truly start the program..
I told hubby about it and I really hope he’ll join me and be inspired…
Okay… I did it… I ordered a program from Beachbody rather than looking for free youtube videos with other people imitating the exercises from videos like The Insanity, T25, and even Hip Hop Abs.
It’s hard trying to follow or do a routine without really knowing the proper intervals and schedule of the entire routine to get the results you want.
So I did it… I ordered the T25 Program. I am a mother of four, work full time, and going back to school taking anatomy… On top of that, my husband, family and I are a part of our church’s youth ministry in addition to attending church on Sundays.
It’s been really hard to put in time to exercise, but I figured, if I can really just invest in me, I can take exercising to the next level and truly commit to a daily routine.
The fact that the T25 probgram is only 25 minutes was promising and I love the results I saw during the program… AMAZING!!! I’m not technically looking for FAST results, but rather something in real time… you know what I mean?
It takes me about 45 minutes to get dressed just to get out and drive another 20 minues to go to a gym and at the same time drive back. That’s two hours away already from my baby girl at home.
With 25 minutes, I can wake up, dress up in workout clothes after brushing and washing my face, and exercise my bootie off and then do a shower. By that time, my baby girl is awake and I am ready to enjoy the rest of the day.
Again, I’m a busy momma plus everything else. I look forward to receiving this program….
