I love my kids so much. I love my husband so much. I love my mom and everyone in my family. I don’t know how I can make each day without them in my life.
I watched “What Dreams May Come” with Robin Williams and it reminded me how love truly conquers all even through hell.
I can’t believe that my life almost slipped from under me. I can’t believe that my faith was tested, but it was, and it will always be.
I do my best and I will do my best. I know I’m not perfect and I know I’m not great, but I do my best.
I do my best to wake up everyday and breathe… I do my best to keep a clean home. I do my best to remember to feed my kids even when I’m not hungry. I do my best to provide even though I have a husband who’d rather keep me home. I do my best to treat my patients, as if it was me in the bed instead. I do my best to comfort, even when it angers me to see the person I love in pain. I do my best… and everything I do – from the moment God blessed me with this life – is not to live for me, but to live for them.
What more is life if there’s nothing to live for?
Through it all, I will do my best, and through it all, God will be by my side.
