Silly things my kids say:
Elijah: Mommy, I forgot my Christmas present to you.
Mommy: that’s ok, I don’t need presents. Just a hug.
Elijah: then this will be my Christmas present for you.
He gives me a sweet kiss with a hug and says, “I will always listen to you. That’s my Christmas present.”

Mommy: Ohhh??!!! I LOVE my Christmas Present!
(I sure hope he remembers this…)
Merry Christmas… This precious angel was my alarm Clock at 7am… She woke me up with a pen, paper, and a smile on her face…
Myella: Hook! (As in “look”) Is Mommy…!
She drew a picture of me… Wow! So artistic… Hehehe!
I can stand up for myself. But knowing that she wants to talk to you… That’s fine… But the fact that you don’t want to talk even when you know what it’s about tells me that you’re scared of her. And that you don’t want to deal with it. Which also makes me feel like you won’t or can’t stand up for me… You can succumb to what she has to say to you and I’ll just stand back and know my place…

Me: what r u doing babes?
Elijah: I don’t like the skin.
I watched him as he seriously peeled each of the nuggets skin off… Hmmm?
